Set in Paradiso Restaurant in Oakville, “Cooking with a Twist” was a client appreciation event for Khamis Design Inc. who kindly invited us to co-sponsor and participate in the event.
“Cooking with a Twist” was a cooking challenge, where Khamis Design Inc’s guests were divided into teams, each team was assigned a course to cook under the supervision of Paradiso’s senior cooking staff. Once the cooking was completed, we all sat down and enjoyed our creations.
The teams were evaluated by Paradiso’s senior cooking staff. The winning team was awarded 2 bottles each of 2007 Galevan Chateau-Neuf-du-Pape, 2006 Pinino Brunello di Montalcino and 2006 Felicity Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley as prizes, supplied by Bacchus Sommelier Services, each with tasting notes and pairing advice prepared by Peter Kline.
